History:

St Peter’s Primary School Epping first opened 1853. Initially the school comprised a weatherboard building that was extended to bluestone facilities in 1871. In 1934, when enrolment was around 38 students, the Good Samaritan Sisters commenced teaching at St Peter’s. By 1957 the enrolment had grown to 214 students and included migrants from various countries. In 1979 the first lay principal was appointed.
