History:
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Bentleigh (OLSH) is one of many OLSH Colleges throughout the world that was established in response to the OLSH Sisters carrying on their ‘mission without limits’. In 1938, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart opened the College to educate young women in south-east Melbourne.
Over the next five decades the College grew with new science labs, a library and new classrooms. We have continued to expand our facilities to include a Performing Arts Centre, OLSH Centre and new Administration building, and will complete an upgrade to our Hall this year.
These facilities have enabled us to broaden the academic and co-curricular offering, including the unique Issoudun program for Year 9 students, introduced in 2012. As we enter our 85th year, we are proud to be providing excellence in education to nearly 750 students.

OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls, administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.

OLSH College is the only Catholic secondary school in Victoria that offers a Year 9 experience at an interstate location. Our students participate in a four-week residential program at our Hartzer Park campus in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
