St Luke’s School, Lalor, is situated in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Built in 1961, the school was the first school in the Parish. As numbers grew through the Lalor and Thomastown areas, our sister school, St John XXIII Primary School, Thomastown East, was opened. St Luke’s has always had a very multicultural community as families from many parts of the world chose to settle in this particular area. There are currently 42 different nationalities represented in our school, which creates a vibrant culture.

St Luke’s School, Lalor, is a school of approximately 240 students, and is located in a quiet suburban area approximately 35 minutes from the city and close to the train line. The school buildings have undergone refurbishment in recent times and classrooms are maintained in good condition. There are two classes at each year level. There are computers in each classroom and children have weekly access to the school library

St Luke’s School, Lalor, is an enthusiastic and dedicated school community where teachers and parents work together on curriculum initiatives, fundraising and classroom programs to ensure the best possible learning opportunities for each individual student. Our school has a strong emphasis on religious education, literacy, numeracy and inquiry learning. Our specialist programs include physical education, performing arts and visual arts.
