History:

St Carlo Borromeo School was established in Greenvale in 1987 with 120 children. As the suburb developed, the student numbers increased, and in 2020 we have a student population of 577 students. With the growth of student numbers, the physical environment has changed, from relocatable classrooms that were frequently surrounded by mud to what is now an aesthetically pleasing landscaped complex. Significant building projects include a multi-purpose building, a parish chapel, a junior and senior classroom blocks and an arts centre for both the visual and performing arts.

Description:

St Carlo Borromeo School consists of four stages of permanent building, incorporating an administration block, classrooms, a refurbished resource centre, a multi-purpose hall, a parish chapel and an arts centre. The multi-purpose building is suitable for community gatherings, whole-school assemblies, physical education and dance and drama activities. The school grounds include an oval, and a shaded junior and senior adventure playground. The school is set next to a large Council oval where sports and various activities are held.
