As part of National Reconciliation Week, the community at Aquinas College, Ringwood, hosted the annual Aquinas Long Walk.

Beginning in the grounds of the college and travelling through the local streets, the Aquinas Long Walk brings together students and leaders from other schools to take part in action that shines a light on reconciliation. The event is held to honour Michael Long’s 650 km walk in 2004 from Melbourne to Parliament House in Canberra as a call to action for reconciliation, understanding and hope. This year’s Aquinas Long Walk finished with performances and presentations at the college, with special guest Leanne Brooke, General Manager of The Long Walk.
