Role Description/Criteria
St Thomas Aquinas Primary School is seeking a classroom teacher who is passionate and willing to work collaboratively with a team of dedicated teachers. Commencement is for a mid-term 3 start. Experienced or graduate teachers are welcome to apply.
This is a maternity leave position concluding at the end of the 2024 school year with the opportunity for further employment in 2025

- Ability to adhere to St Thomas Aquinas Primary School's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
- An ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
- An understanding and demonstrated use of evidence based best practice
- A capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching
- The willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
Additional Criteria:
- Current VIT Registration
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or be willing to commit to this)
- An understanding and experience with PBL (an advantage)
