Role Description/Criteria
St Mary’s School, Altona is seeking a part-time Year 1/2 teacher for a parental leave replacement commencing 3 June or Term 3.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic, collaborative colleague who understands and values the link between student success and collective teacher efficacy.
They are committed to finding ways to engage every child in tailored learning experiences and understand the importance of using data to inform the next steps in their teaching.

Selection Criteria
- A demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to and support the Catholic ethos
- An understanding of the key features of Visible Learning
- Knowledge of current best practice in literacy and numeracy
- A commitment to contributing positively to team-based planning
- A strong commitment and ability to engage with all members of the community
The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
They will also be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and to ensuring St Mary's Child safety policies and procedures are fully enacted.
