Role Description/Criteria

St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School Bennettswood located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school for the remainder of 2024 with the potential of continuing into 2025. The successful applicant will be required to:

  • support the Catholic ethos of the school
  • display a strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
  • provide effective differentiated teaching using data in the key areas of English and Mathematics
  • provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum.
  • build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
  • work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
  • have highly effective organisational and communication skills
  • be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement.

Special Requirements

  • VIT registration
  • accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School
