Role Description/Criteria

St Peter’s Catholic Primary School is a vibrant and innovative Catholic primary school with a supportive pastoral community. We are a growing school community who is looking for a passionate classroom teacher.

We promote lifelong learning, empowering our learners through our passion for inquiry-based learning. We are seeking quality educators with a passion for learning and teaching, dedicated to building relationships and empowering learners to be their best. Graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be working with a committed and friendly staff team, within a strong and supportive school community.  

The positions will commence in Term 3 of 2024 

The successful applicant will have the capacity to - selection criteria:

support the Catholic ethos of the school

work flexibly and collaboratively within staff Professional Learning teams

build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents

provide effective differentiated teaching in the key areas of literacy and numeracy

provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum

develop excellent skills in integrating learning technologies across the curriculum

cater effectively for a diverse range of learning needs

gather, analyse and use student data to drive learning and teaching and inform best practice

demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.

The applicant must be:

VIT Registered

Accredited to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools or be willing to undertake such Accreditation
