Role Description/Criteria

The successful applicants will provide support in the learning centres that includes targeted intervention and collaborating with teachers and leaders to cater to students at their point of need. This position involves taking whole class and small groups of students for targeted programs and will involve working and planning closely with teams and curriculum leaders to support student learning.  

Candidates must have an ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and contemporary pedagogies.

Special Requirements:

  • OLSC promotes the safety, well-being and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children;
  • The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration;
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred;
  • Contact details of two referees including current principal 

This position is commence at the beginning of Semester 2, 2024 or earlier if available.  Although this role is advertised as full time it could be a 0.8 FTE for a suitable applicant.
