Role Description/Criteria

St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school in Term 3, 2024. The successful applicant will be required to:

support the Catholic ethos of the school

display a strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum

provide effective differentiated teaching using data in the key areas of English and Mathematics

provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum.

build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents

work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams

have highly effective organisational and communication skills

be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement

have a knowledge of assessment and data analysis

design and implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child.
