In late November over 1,000 people attended the launch of the 2017 edition of Shared Stories, an anthology of creative work by Catholic students in Melbourne, hosted by Star of the Sea College, Brighton.

Students from 25 Catholic schools in Melbourne contributed creative writing, photography and visual art related to this year’s theme Journey.

Shared Stories editor Peter Farrar said, ‘The hopes, dreams and challenges of our young writers and artists, as expressed in this anthology, serve once again as an inspiration to a broader world that is often tired and fragmented. We honour our young people, who have the courage to share their talents with an audience of many thousands of readers’.

The published book is added to the collection of the Victorian State Library and National Library in Canberra. It is available for download from the Shared Stories website.
