St Thomas the Apostle School, Blackburn, won the Victorian Primary School Sports Association mixed netball state final on Friday.

It was an emotion filled day with the team winning four games before making it to the final game. With support and cheering from sidelines they fought tirelessly to win the final game, claiming victory with a winning score of 20 to 11.

The school’s mixed netball team were runners up in the 2017 state final.
