The community at Holy Eucharist School, St Albans South, at the 'biggest morning tea'..27 May 2019

The community at Holy Eucharist School, St Albans South, united for a cuppa and a chat to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Staff, parents and the community gathered together for the Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds to contribute directly to research, prevention programs and support services for cancer patients and their families. This was their way of showing support to those affected by cancer and make sure Cancer Council can continue its vital work.

Students had a casual clothes day and were asked to wear something yellow and make a gold coin donation to show their support. The morning tea featured a delicious mixture of hot and cold, savoury and sweet food, bottomless coffee and tea, a raffle, silent auction and donations. The school raised almost $2,000 for Cancer Council.

A special thanks to the following businesses and retailers for their generous donations:

  • Coles, Taylors Hill
  • Coles, Keilor Downs
  • Woolworths, Watergardens South
