The National Catholic Education Commission (NCEC) is hosting a virtual symposium on Friday 30 October for educators and leaders in Catholic schools across Australia.

Faith in the future is a symposium exploring the issues relevant to Catholic educators today. Speakers include Dr Carol Campbell (University of Toronto), Prof John Haldane (Australian Catholic University), the Hon Dan Tehan MP (Minister for Education) and the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP (Shadow Minister for Education and Training), along with education professionals from around Australia. Panel discussions will focus on school improvement, student wellbeing, faith formation and parent engagement. Dr Frank Malloy, National Director of Marist Schools Australia, will host the ‘bicentennial games’ as preparation for the 200th anniversary of Catholic education in Australia during 2021.
