Students at St Macartan’s School, Mornington, have used the recent period of remote learning to create artwork for some very special athletes.
Responding to a call to primary schools from the Australian Olympic Committee, students produced inspirational artwork to be displayed in the athletes’ village for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo. The students began their artwork during visual art classes and continued during remote learning. Year 6 Art Learning Leader, Ned, recently sent the collected artwork via the Australian Olympic Committee.
