The community at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School, Mickleham, has made a clear statement about the school’s mission during its very first Feast Day.
One of the Archdiocese of Melbourne’s newest schools, Holy Cross Catholic Primary School first opened its doors in January this year. For the inaugural Feast Day, Principal Mark Miatello led a pilgrimage from the school to Mickleham North Community Centre for a celebration of Mass and Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
‘It’s been an important day to celebrate what we’re starting here as a Catholic community in Mickleham and to set the tone for how we want to continue into the future’, said Mark. ‘To lead our students on a pilgrimage to share Mass as a community has brought to life what it means to live out our spirit of love, hope and unity.’
