The great work of Sarah Reed, teacher at St Aloysius’ School, Queenscliff, was acknowledged in the Herald Sun on 21 February as part of News Corp’s ‘Best in Class’ campaign.

Ms Reed runs a marine life and conservation program that teaches her students about ocean sustainability, and how to identify sharks and dolphins, and monitor tides.

She has an inspiring message for aspiring teachers, saying she became an educator to make a difference in young people’s lives. Ms Reed is one of the many remarkable teachers at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) schools.
