Holy Saviour Parish School, Vermont South, welcomed back students and families with a special morning tea. Principal Steve Evans shared his reflection on their start to the year:

It was a wonderful opportunity to speak with each family and catch up on all that happened over the holidays. Current parents and new parents all shared a muffin and coffee, with thanks to our fundraising committee, and rekindled old friendships and ignited new ones.

The highlight of the morning though happened once all the parents had left. All the new Prep children were invited into the principal’s office to share a babycino and marshmallow, and welcome them officially to Holy Saviour. We talked, we laughed, we got special stickers, but most importantly, we established a great connection with each other from the start.

Our theme at Holy Saviour in 2023 is ‘Make a Difference’, where we will aim to enrich and inspire each other through the encounters we have each and every day. What a great way to see our theme alive in our school at the start of the year.
