St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School, The Basin, celebrated its 40th anniversary with the opening of a new senior learning centre.

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Executive Director, Dr Edward Simons and Member for Bayswater Jackson Taylor joined Principal Peter Steward at the event only days after construction was completed. The centre comprises four general learning areas, as well as a central collaborative space and space for STEAM activities.

With a blessing by Parish Priest Fr Mirek Knap, the new building is ready for the beginning of Term 3. Designed by Baldasso Cortese and built by Bowden Corporation, the $3.1 million centre was made possible with support from the Victorian Government of $1.65 million.
