Role Description/Criteria
The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school and will have the opportunity to contribute to our well-established Performing Arts program, including school concerts, drama productions, and music experiences that enrich student learning.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school
- Experience directing or assisting with school performances
- Ability to integrate digital tools and technologies into Performing Arts teaching
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular arts activities, such as lunchtime clubs
- A commitment to achieving improved learning outcomes for students
- The ability to work collaboratively in a variety of team settings
- A dedication to ongoing personal and professional learning
- Experience in working with students with additional needs and developing Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs)
- A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teaching Performing Arts
- A commitment to Child Safety Standards and student wellbeing
- Current VIT registration
Preferred but not essential:
Understanding of Inquiry-based teaching and learning to assist in planning and making connections to classroom practice.
