Role Description/Criteria

St. Patrick's is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a highly professional and collaborative working team for this classroom position. The position is a maternity leave replacement (current class Prep) for 12 months commencing start of Term 3, 2025.
 

Special Requirements

The successful applicant must:

  • be committed to the Catholic ethos 
  • be accredited to teach Religious Education
  • hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
  • be willing to actively contribute to and be part of school and parish life
  • possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards ongoing professional learning
  • be willing to work in a collaborative and co-operative learning team
  • demonstrate an understanding of the Science of Learning and how it informs effective, evidence based classroom practice
  • demonstrate an understanding of MAC's Vision for Instruction
  • demonstrate purposeful use of technologies that enhance student engagement and learning.
  • demonstrate a sound understanding of how to use data to inform and improve student learning in alignment with evidence based practices

Knowledge of Structured Literacy within a Knowledge Rich Curriculum would be an advantage.
