9 February 2022

Schools across the country took part in this year’s Safer Internet Day.

With the theme ‘play it fair online’, 2022’s Safer Internet Day is part of a global initiative that brings families, schools, organisations and governments from 170 countries together to raise awareness about online safety. In Australia, the eSafety Commissioner is the official coordinator of the Safer Internet Day efforts.

As part of this year’s Safer Internet Day, students from a number of Melbourne’s Catholic schools, including St Peter’s School, Epping, and Kilbreda College, Mentone, signed the Safer Internet Day 2022 School Pledge and made a public commitment to online safety.
