Role Description/Criteria
At St Kevin’s, we’re more than just a school—we’re a learning community built on strong relationships, shared purpose, and a deep commitment to every child's growth.
We’re seeking a passionate and reflective teacher to join our team: someone who brings warmth, professionalism and a love of learning and who is eager to contribute to a school culture where both students and staff are supported to thrive.
St Kevin’s is a place where:
- Teaching is informed by evidence and guided by a deep respect for how children learn best.
- Teachers work collaboratively to design meaningful, purposeful and well-structured learning experiences.
- We value both strong instruction and deep thinking — recognising that learning is most powerful when it is explicit, engaging, and connected.
- Staff are encouraged to grow professionally through coaching, collaboration and a shared commitment to continually improving our practice.
- Diversity is embraced and celebrated. We are a multicultural, inclusive school that lives out the Gospel through compassion, service and welcome.
- Relationships come first. We believe in the power of kindness, trust and high expectations — for ourselves and for our learners.
This role would suit a teacher who:
- Is committed to nurturing the whole child — academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
- Values clarity and structure in their teaching, while also seeing the importance of curiosity, ownership and critical thinking.
- Wants to be part of a dynamic team that is shaping a shared and evolving vision for learning and teaching.
- Has a willingness to learn, reflect and grow alongside others.
