Schools recognised the significance of taking action towards reconciliation as part of National Reconciliation Week 2021.

2021 marks 20 years of Reconciliation Australia and almost three decades of Australia’s formal reconciliation process. This year’s theme, ‘More than a word: reconciliation takes action’, encourages all Australians to look beyond the positive messages and act in a way that further promotes a spirit of justice and cooperation. Although much of the week was disrupted due to the latest lockdown, schools were able to mark the occasion either in person (prior to the lockdown) or as part of remote learning.
